Welcome to Indian Springs

The village of Indian Springs opened in 1986 and is one of the smaller villages in The Woodlands consisting of a little over 2,000 homes. It was named after Indian artifacts were found from the Bidai and Atakapan tribes. Indian Springs is the only village that has natural rolling hills, which provide privacy and create a unique neighborhood layout. May customs homes were built in this village to accommodate the terrain. There are 21 neighborhoods within the village.  For it being a smaller village, there are many shopping options. There is a center that has a grocery store and a variety of other shops, restaurants and services. There is also a center that has Trader Joe’s and other shopping as well.  Public schools include David Elementary and Galatas Elementary within the village. John Copper Private School is a top ranked college preparatory PreK-12th grade school. The two major parks are Forestgate Park and Falconwing Park. Both parks have playgrounds, pools and tennis courts. Indian Springs is a wonderful village to live and play!
